I am currently a Staff Product Designer at Shopify, based in Portland, OR, where I leverage over a decade of experience to tackle complex design challenges and create impactful, user-centric solutions.
As an end-to-end designer, I thrive on exploring difficult problems, using data and thoughtful design principles to craft holistic solutions that align with both user needs and business objectives. My experience spans across consultancy, freelance, embedded, and in-house roles, where I have worked with cross-functional teams globally. This breadth of experience has refined my ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, lead teams, and manage design processes from concept to execution.
A graduate of the University of Washington, I am committed to continuous learning and growth, both in my professional journey and personal life. Outside of work, I find inspiration in the outdoors, exploring new cuisines, or immersing myself in a good book with a cup of Ethiopian coffee by my side.
